Israel Arms Sale Disapproval (S.J.Res. 33)

Motion to discharge from the Foreign Relations Committee. Would have blocked a proposed sale of defense articles and services to Israel. Only 15 senators voted to block this arms sale to Israel. 82 voted to let it go through. This was April 2025, when the ICJ had already issued provisional measures ordering Israel to prevent genocide in Gaza and the death toll was approaching 50,000. 82 senators looked at that and said yes, keep sending the weapons.
